What is MUDA?
MUDA is the Memphis Ultimate Disc Association created to help unite Ultimate players in Memphis and the surrounding areas to help promote and grow the sport of Ultimate. MUDA is a non-profit group comprised of men and women of all ages and skill levels that love to play Ultimate for exercise, fun and competition.

Can I join MUDA?
MUDA membership is pretty informal and free. We only ask that when you come out to play that you treat everyone with kindness and respect. Some activities such as our annual Summer League, tournaments, competitive teams may require a contribution but most are nominal.

What is Ultimate?
In a nutshell, Ultimate is very fast paced sport that combines certain aspects of football, basketball and soccer all with a disc (aka- Frisbee).  Seven players from each team are on a field that is 70 yards long by 40 yards wide with an additional 20 yards of length on each end for end zones.  A special disc is used that weighs 175 grams and can be bought at stores such as Target (Wham-O and Discraft are manufactures).  Most players wear cleats for added traction, speed and stability but they are not required for play.  We play by the 11th Edition Rules passed by the Ultimate Players Association (UPA). What if I can't come every time?
Again we are a very informal group and understand that people have other responsibilities outside of Ultimate so we just encourage you to come whenever you can.  Do understand to play people have to show up so there could be days that no one shows up.  Also many of us have developed smaller games to play when numbers are limited. 

What about inclement weather?
We will play in the rain or snow but play stops as soon as a player sees lightening or hears thunder. 

Do you have any merchandise for sale?
